‘DEVKI VIHAR’ – by virtue of the name of the TOWNSHIP, it identifies with one CULTURAL CONTEXT.
‘LORD KRISHNA’ born to DEVKI is worshipped in our country. While Lord Krishna implies the RIGHTEOUS VIRTUES, he also is synonymous of CONTEMPORARY CONCEPTUAL WAY OF LIFE.

Lifestyle has got a new definition in India with a much broader awareness now. While the direction may be more of contemporary and simple, the present design picks up slightly a bit of CONTEXT OF LORD KRISHNA.

CAFETERIA – Subtle elements like PEACOCK FEATHER, FLUTE(bansuri),ROPES (in the form of jhula), RUSTED WOODEN FLOORING are some elements being reflected in the cafeteria design.

MULTIPURPOSE HALL – some bit of RICHNESS AND OPULANCE (which resonates through all our Indian celebrations), through details in false ceiling, light, flooring and paneling.

GYM – fitness as it means should be very MINIMALISTIC, STRAIGHT LINES AND NON FUSSY which has been put across with a bit wooden/wood tiled flooring or ceilings, and views through large glazing on the exterior.

SPORTS HALL – it has a bit of CONTEMPORARY, WARM, BARN type feel created by some wood look interwoven patterned tiles.

CAFETERIA SPILL OUT – a SPILL OUT – OUTDOOR in the true sense with glass, metal – wood pergola as a semi – closed extension of the cafeteria. Nice hanging lights provide an insisting and cozy ambience in evenings and good weather conditions. Thereby it brings more life to the exteriors.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN VOCABULARY – A continuity in the INSIDE & OUTSIDE FEEL is the overall line of thought.
